DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) Revenue Management

For TUI InfoTec GmbH in Hanover we are seeking with immediate effect a: DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) Revenue Management.




  • Responsible for the technical operation of our Core Yield System CYRUS, including Second Level Support, for the TUI Central Region
  • Analyse, evaluate and resolve technical errors in collaboration with the CYRUS Support Team in the UK
  • Responsible for conducting integration and regression tests
  • Responsible for technical and functional monitoring of the CYRUS system as well as cooperate with other support areas regarding potential system interactions (e.g. @com or IRIS.plus)
  • Conduct deployments and establish a unified deployment strategy
  • Ensure an optimal system availability and performance
  • Conduct best-practice and steer rounds with colleagues in the infrastructure department
  • Responsible for problem management and continuous optimization of the CYRUS system and related processes
  • Responsible for the further development of the non-functional requirements of CYRUS application in collaboration with TUI UK colleagues
  • There will be a close exchange with the Product Owner CYRUS, especially regarding prioritization and coordination issues
  • Manage internal department projects and represent company-wide projects



  • Technical university degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics) or a equivalent IT qualification
  • Experience in technical operation of central and important core applications and an understanding of the importance of flawless system operability
  • Experience with PL / SQL and knowledge of Oracle databases
  • Confident with Linux and Solaris infrastructures
  • Experience with Java-based development processes (GitHub, Eclipse, Maven 3) and knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI / CD)
  • Agile working methods such as Kanban are familiar to you
  • Fluent in German and very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to analytically understand complex situations
  • Team player with organizational skills and problem solving skills
