For TUI Group in Hanover we are seeking with immediate effect a: Head of (m/f/d) Corporate & Customer Analytics

As Team Leader (m/f/d) Corporate & Customer Analytics, you will assume disciplinary and economic responsibility for the Corporate & Customer Analytics department. You will be responsible for the further development of the product vision of the associated analytics products in the DWH, planning and big data environment as well as their implementation with specialist end-to-end teams for the Corporate & Strategy and Customer, Sales & Web divisions.  Specifically, your tasks will include:
  • Concept and develop economic, sustainable and high-quality data products as well as be responsible for their operation
  • Develop and implement a strategic product roadmap taking into account business requirements (focus areas: controlling, strategy, sales, CRM and digital commerce), technological developments and economic conditions
  • Lead, motivate, evaluate and develop employees as well as ensure efficient organisational structures and procedures in the delegation area
  • Develop a tiered budget for employees and material costs and an investment plan for the delegation area as well as ensure compliance with the approved budget over the timeline and, if necessary, initiate corrective measures
  • Central contact person for business partners and IT departments regarding all requirements for data sources, processing and correlations, their provision, evaluation and presentation
  • Assume product responsibility for relevant group platforms (e.g. our Group Marketing Platform), their integration into the system landscape of the TUI Central Region
  • Responsible for operation and local participation in future system developments
  • Continuously develop solutions in line with the objectives of the overall organisation, the IT strategy of the TUI Group and the business strategies of the companies working with analytics solutions within the Central Region
  • Cooperate with and consulte business partners, IT departments and service providers for the continuous further development of the solution portfolio
  • Optimise process organization and interlocking with relevant (cross-company) areas with a focus on agile methods and self-organized teams
  • Create and continuously develop the Analytics strategy in close cooperation with the Director Analytics & Integration as well as implement in the respective sub-areas
  • University degree - preferably in computer science - or comparable knowledge and experience acquired in practice
  • Several years of professional experience and detailed knowledge of information and communication technologies
  • Very good knowledge of agile working methods (Kanban, Scrum) as well as knowledge of project management methods
  • Detailed knowledge in the areas of technology, big data, cloud management as well as architectures in the analytics environment
  • Experience in leadership and motivation of employees combined with a strong social competence, high resilience as well as excellent conflict resolution and consensus skills
  • Understanding and experience with business models and processes in tourism (tour operators, airlines, sales and CRM) is desirable
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong analytical thinking skills combined with the ability to work conceptually
  • Very good organisational and coordination skills, with the aim of working on tasks simultaneously and networked
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a problem-solving way of working
