#Hiring karaoke: Application training at the BBS Burgdorf


We, Sarah Hildebrand, HR Consultant at TUI InfoTec and Caroline Schmitz, HR Consultant at TUI Deutschland, visited BBS Burgdorf.

The goal? Successfully preparing the pupils for demanding application procedures.

During the event, the participants gained an initial insight into various aspects of an application process, such as online tests, interviews or the Assessment Center.

The pupils also had the opportunity to try out practical exercises such as a short presentation about themselves. The Assessment Center, which many companies use as a tool for personnel selection, was also included as an exercise: Two teams competed against each other in the Marshmallow Challenge. In addition to the team spirit, numerous other criteria, such as how to deal with stress, can be observed in such tasks, depending on the concept.

Together with the 40 or so pupils, we had an interesting afternoon and were able to enjoy the great popularity and a cheerful atmosphere. We are looking forward to coming back!
