For TUI InfoTec GmbH in Hanover we are seeking with immediate effect a:

Java Developer (m/f/d) Destimo

As a Java Developer (m/f/d) in the area of Contracting & Inventory you will support the development of the in-house web portal Destimo as part of an agile Scrum Team. With your work, you will make a decisive contribution to building up and offering travel products for our TUI customers. Together with the team you plan and develop sustainable and future-proof applications and put them into practice in sprints. As an agile and powerful team, we feel responsible for the product end-to-end and ensure smooth operation as well as further development. Your tasks are concrete: 
  • Develop continuously our product Destimo according to Scrum
  • Plan, program and test microservices in the area of productive applications
  • Analyse, evaluate and structure technical requirements as well as select technologies to develop sustainable technical concepts and solutions
  • Ensure consistent and executable software changes in test and production environments
  • Consult and concept technical know-how
  • Completed studies in IT environment (e.g. computer science, business informatics or media informatics) or vocational training as IT specialist (m/f/d) application development with comparable qualification
  • Very good knowledge of Java 10 and relevant frameworks / concepts such as Spring Boot, AOP and / or RESTful Services; experience in designing microservices advantageous
  • Professional experience in Java software development with Git, IntelliJ, Maven, Docker, Jenkins and Kubernetes as well as Elasticsearch desirable
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and architectures, such as Apache Kafka
  • Passion and fun with DevOps concepts and software development in a self-organized, agile Scrum Team
  • Good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
  • Enthusiastic personality with distinctive team spirit
  • Independent, careful and structured working method (Clean Code, TDD, BDD)
