For TUI Group in Hanover we are seeking with immediate effect a: Software Developer (m/f/d) TUI Cars

  • Develop and program one of our central platforms for the distribution of TUI Cars B2B and B2C
  • Develop in microservices environment primarily with Java and Amazon cloud native applications and integration into our automated continuous delivery pipeline
  • Receive and control technical system requirements and document them
  • Consult business partners in the further development of the content of our products and services
  • Optimise and develop automated deployment processes and self-healing mechanisms for reducing manual maintenance efforts
  • Maintain independently and develop software solutions as well as develop and implement technically optimal and market-driven IT solutions
  • Collaborate in the coordination and design of architecture, data integration and performance management as well as the development of the scalability of tourism applications
  • Develop software development methods and participate in communities of practice
  • Train and coordinate (junior) developers (knowledge sharing)
  • University degree in IT technology (e.g. computer science, business informatics) or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant experience in software development, in the development and further development of IT application landscapes
  • Very good knowledge in Java 8 / EE / Node.JS, Microservices / distributed architectures as well as experience with web services (REST and SOAP)
  • Experience with Maven and Git
  • Very good knowledge of agile working methods (Kanban / Scrum)
  • Experience with Amazon Cloud Services as well as Docker and CI / CD desirable
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English
  • Independent and problem solving-oriented way of working
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and quality awareness
  • Team player with good communication skills as well as pleasure in exchanging and sharing knowledge
  • Willingness to handle challenging and complex tasks and the associated specialist responsibility
