As a Technical Product Owner within our Data and analytical function you will perform a crucial role in shaping, evolving and management of a suite of analytical products and services. You will guide the product feature delivery in an agile fashion with a cross functional, cross disciplinary team.

What you will be doing

 

Our technical product owner will facilitate a successful and accurate delivery by:

  • Defining sprint goals
  • Delivering high quality user stories into an agile backlog
  • Building and managing the delivery backlog using Jira
  • Actively contributing to scrum ceremonies
  • Recognising and reporting delivery concerns to business stakeholders
  • Defining and collecting product metrics
  • Delivering presentations and written reports to stakeholders

 

What we are looking for

 

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Product Owner to shepherd new analytics capabilities into to our business through an Agile approach.

As a motivated self-starter, with a passion for improving the insights our analysts can glean from the richness of our data, they’ll need to be able to communicate complex ideas to others from both a technical and non-technical backgrounds.

 

They will have a good understanding of the business drivers for their area and work with the business to ensure that success is achieved through delivery.

Our PO will know about the contemporary data science landscape, the current tools, the pertinent approaches and some of the likely challenges.

 

We make extensive use of Cloud Computing at TUI, so experience and knowledge of AWS would benefit the candidate.
