For TUI Group we are seeking with immediate effect a: Data Governance Manager (m/f/d) Customer Master Data Management

  • Manage customer data requirements and advise business and IT teams on the processing of customer data
  • Develop and concept data architecture, migration strategies and data models for cross-system and cross-platform customer data
  • Specificate and monitor compliance with architecture guidelines as well as responsible for the development and implementation of the data architecture for customer and permission databases
  • Ensure data quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, relevance and consistency within the IT landscape TUI Central
  • Responsible for compliance with current guidelines and laws, such as EU DSGVO
  • Technical responsible for the processing and use of customer data in IT projects and on platforms of TUI Central
  • Prepare and implement a data governance model for TUI Central in cooperation with the respective business owners and relevant division heads
  • Ensure customer data flows within the TUI Central IT landscape with regard to interfaces, technical processes and accessibility of customer data
  • Develop guidelines for the processing and use of customer data with the business owners
  • Evaluate and review projects on the basis of architectural concepts and designs as well as release of projects or exercise of a veto function with regard to data governance guidelines
  • Coordinate data governance models, policies and architectures within the TUI Group with focus on MDM and permission databases
  • Continuously develop and optimise work processes and methods in close cooperation with business owners and relevant management functions
  • University degree in the technical or business management field
  • Relevant professional experience in the development, implementation and management of data governance models, in particular in the customer data governance environment (Customer Data Governance Models)
  • Extensive experience in ensuring compliance with privacy policies and laws
  • Proven experience with Data Migration strategies and their implementation, as well as experience with Data Modelling
  • System knowledge of customer and permission databases and / or platforms
  • Knowledge of market standards and developments in the areas of customer data management and MDM
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in consulting and managing expectations
  • Strong skills and creativity in brainstorming (e.g. design thinking) as well as the ability to analyse and communicate technical concepts and to derive pragmatic recommendations for action
  • Strong customer focus combined with the ability to align customer needs and business requirements
  • Experience in managing teams in a complex and cross-cultural matrix environment is desirable
  • Experience in supplier management in an international environment desirable
  • Enthusiasm for the tourism industry, experience in the tourism environment is an advantage
