ITSM System Engineer (m/f/d)

For TUI InfoTec GmbH in Hanover we are seeking with immediate effect an: ITSM System Engineer (m/f/d).



Our team is looking for an ITSM System Engineer (m/f/d), who would like to face new challenges and support us in our daily tasks. The team consists of seven system engineers and one product owner and we are working on the development and operation of IT tools to support TUI's entire IT processes. We are also working on a migration project and are responsible for the self-service portal for IT disruptions.


This is what you will be doing as a system engineer (m/f/d):

  • Support and further develop our tools landscape (e.g. IT service management software such as Remedy, Jira/Confluence)
  • Support and optimise production systems (patching, troubleshooting,...)
  • Support the business partner to simplify or automate the processes/processes
  • Support the migration of the systems into the cloud
  • Responsible for overall solutions that lie outside the company's own focus areas as well as collaboration in projects




  • University degree or apprenticeship in information technology, business informatics, economics, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Knowledge in the field of automation (focus on process automation)
  • Experience with ITSM Tools and ETL
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, Java or Go)
  • Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)



  • Knowledge of the cloud, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Database experience (SQL statements,..)
  • Experience with operating system support (Linux and/or Windows)
  • Experience with modern working methods such as DevOps, Agile Development, CI/CD etc.
